hello chalkboard. . .

The back room of our house has officially turned into the play room. It’s where we stash all of lexi’s play mat’s and random toys, and its where lex and i spend the majority of our days. I’ve been loving (aka stalking) Joy’s Hope on instagram and she has this amazing chalkboard she use’s as a countdown for the kids–things like “5 more days til summer!” and other super duper fun sayings. So i decided i wanted a framed chalkboard to write fun stuff on, and make countdowns on, and write lexi’s daily goals on (eat, play, sleep, repeat). . . and guess what; we HAVE a fabulous framed chalkboard! we used it years ago for our engagement party and then stashed it away never to use it again. UNTIL NOW. Hello chalkboard on which i can practice printing in a straight line just in case i happen to find myself in a schoolroom writing on the board. . .
